Hi Everyone!

So last month I was contacted by Alpro UK to join in on their Blank Canvas Campaign for London Fashion Week. I was sent a kit to come up with some homemade creations then sent down to London to join in on their Food Styling Workshop and attend the Christopher Raeburn show - so amazing. I thought I'd write up a little blog post (which I have a feeling is going to be my longest blog post yet) about my experience and to round up some of the recipes I created.

Blank Canvas Kit Recipes

Cookie Crisp Parfait

Cookie Crisp Parfait (with homemade cookie crisp) 🍪🍨 @alpro soy yogurt, bananas, date caramel, cacao soy yogurt, almond butter and homemade chocolate drizzle and wee mini cookies to top (just oat flour, mashed banana, cacao nibs and almond butter) #vegan #alpronista

To make the mini cookies, combine 1/4 cup each of oat flour + mashed banana and 2tsp almond butter - form a dough. Mix in cacao nibs or choc chips and press into mini cookies. Grill for a couple of minutes.

Layer plain Alpro, banana slices, date caramel and Alpro mixed with cacao powder. Top with melted almond butter, homemade chocolate sauce and the mini cookies.

Base Layer: homemade granola
Second Layer: Alpro mixed with lemon zest and lemon puree
Third Layer: Alpro Coconut Yogurt
Toppings: agave, bee pollen and banana

Crepes and Fruit

I got the recipe for these crepes from the new Uncook Book by Tanya from Tanya's Chelsea - they are SO good and only three ingredients.

I topped mine with Alpro Plain, bananas, orange, blueberries, nectarines and fresh mint.

Food Styling Workshop

The Food Styling Workshop was held at St Martin's Lane Hotel in London - such an amazing location! The workshop was held by the lovely Anna Jones who gave us all some food styling and photography tips.

To begin with, we were left to create our own 'blank canvas' using one of the three Alpro flavours (Simply Plain, Almond or Coconut) and a wide range of fruit, nuts and superfood that was left out for us - so much choice!!

We then went on to style and photograph some food that had been made by Anna using Alpro products such as a Cardamon, Rose and Almond Smoothie and Homemade Cereal Bars.

I took literally hundreds of photos but here are some of my favourites!

Fashion Show

And finally, the Fashion Show which was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me; such an unforgettable experience. It was so great to be a part of all the fashion buzz and to be able to go and see a show.
